GOOD COMPREHENSION OF ENGLISH The large majority of our courses are taught in English. Students need to have good level of proficiency in English prior to starting their studies to fully benefit from AIM's program.
The first year of the Bachelor degree acquaints students also with different modes of expression and accents, allowing them to listen, speak and dialogue in English with attentive faculty in order to improve their knowledge and their language level.
CAPACITY FOR INTENSIVE AND SUSTAINED WORK Coursework requires many hours outside of class for reading, reflection, and writing as well as a strong intellectual level for comprehension and a high capacity for concentration.
Further, the "manual labor" aspects of the first "blue collar" in-company internship, in restaurant work and housekeeping, calls for corresponding physical aptitude.
REAL MOTIVATION FOR QUALITY
Integrating the refined and demanding world of high-level hospitality is only accessible to students who first demand excellence and quality performance of themselves. High quality standards are the indispensable key to success at AIM.
WELL-GROOMED PRESENTATION
Physical appearance and personal hygiene are capital requirements in the hotel and tourism industries. AIM requires its students to dress professionally and practice impeccable hygiene throughout the duration of their studies.
"Having studied English to Baccalaureate level but never having visited an English-speaking country, will my English level be sufficient to successfully complete my studies at AIM ?"
Yes, because our courses are conceived progressively
to allow students to follow them without any major difficulties.
The first year of studies in particular aims at perfecting
both written and spoken English, through enrichment
of vocabulary and review of gramma
Our international context and Anglophone language immersion help our students attain enough fluency to enjoy practicing English among themselves.
