AIM’s Master of Science is a highly specialized Hospitality Business Management program designed by industry professionals for attaining rapidly managerial positions in large international hotels, palaces and in the other eas of tourism industry.

The program is open to students having already finished successfully at least two-year studies (in Science, Arts or in Literature fields) in a recognized higher education establishment.

For those holding a degree in Tourism/Hospitality
Students having successfully accomplished a minimum of two year studies in a recognized Hospitality Management college, may receive at AIM the Bachelor of Science degree in one year, provided they also earn four AHLA Professional Certificates.

These Certificates may also be applied towards the Master of Science degree during the second year.

AIM's affiliation with the Educational Institute of American Hotel & Lodging Association - AHLA, a non-profit foundation belonging to the world's largest hotel association, allows students to earn the "Master of Science" degree, provided they obtain at least four "Certificates of successful completion" during the two-year program.

Career orientation
Students in the Master's program will acquire broad professional experience while gaining a superior working knowledge of foreign languages and cultures.

This knowledge is acquired through a direct, hands-on approach to the course material, contributing to their future success in tourism and international hospitality management.

Developing one's capacities 
The study program consists of intensive, specialized course work, covering a wide spectrum of subjects concerning the day-to-day operations of hotel, lodging and restaurant management.

First year core curriculum
The first year entails ample use of active learning methods, requiring assimilation of theoretical principles acquired in class.
 

Second year core curriculum
They include role-playing, group assignments, and on-site research missions.

In-depth analysis and practical work in management, with role-playing and business simulations.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATES OF SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION

Awarded by EI of AHLA (Educational Institute of American Hotel & Lodging Association).

At least five subject areas (out of ten to thirteen) are bilaterally approved each year by AIM and EI of AHLA.

 

 

Two grades are given for each subject area and appear on the grade sheet at the end of the year: One grade is awarded by AIM, the other by AHLA.

 

The American examinations are administered on an entirely independent basis. They are corrected and graded in the United States. A grade of 70/100 or higher is necessary to earn a successful completion certificate for each subject area, attesting to the student's high level of achievement in the given area.

These certificates are recognized and highly valued at an international level.
