Osman
Director of AIM, he began his undergraduate studies in tourism and hotel management at the Ecole Hôtelière de Strasbourg, then continued in Paris at the Ecole Nationale de Commerce, and at the Centre d'Etudes Supérieures du Tourisme (currently IREST) of the University of Paris (graduate degree), before earning his postgraduate degree at the IMHI (Cornell/ESSEC).
He polished his skills in computer science while working five years in the foreign affairs department at INRIA (National Institute for Computer and Automation Research) in France, before assuming financial and administrative responsibilities in a luxury resort hotel, a deluxe "Palace" hotel in Paris, and an investment bank.
A former political science student at the Sorbonne University, (two advanced graduate degrees in International Relations, D.E.S. and D.E.A., followed by his doctorate degree in European International Relations), he has dedicated himself entirely to the teaching of management as department head since 1986.
He is an affiliated member in good standing of the Cornell Hotel Society, Certified Hospitality Educator, and member of the faculty of the American Hotel & Lodging Association's Educational Institute.
